Longevity Production

Printing and sewing take place in the Baltic States, with full transparency into the factory and working conditions through our Code of Conduct. We believe in long-term business relationships and have worked with the same manufacturer since 2011. Throughout the production chain, the following factors serve as guiding principles for our business.

Time: Time is a crucial factor in creating safe and secure production conditions. Delayed decisions result in tight timeframes, which can lead to rushed production. When sufficient time is allowed, it becomes possible to plan for the long term and create stability throughout the process, from design and production to transportation. Sufficient time also creates better opportunities for good working conditions in production. It can also make it possible to choose materials such as cotton that has been grown and produced under better conditions. Production can be more energy-efficient when sufficient time is allowed, for example by air-drying textiles and using less water.

Location: The closer geographically a product can be produced, the more efficient the production chain can become through shorter transport distances.

Social aspects: We strive for socially responsible production. The people working in our sewing production earn salaries that are 11 times higher than those for equivalent work in Bangladesh and 6 times higher than in India. We use statistical data from Werner International.

Responsible handling and use of chemicals: We strive for responsible and considered use of chemicals. This is ensured through our STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX  certification.
