Shyness brings you quality and exceptional sleep comfort. This comfort comes from our choice of cotton and the attentive production processes we use. Our bed linen is woven with 100% long-fibre, combed cotton to produce a tightly-woven percale in thread count 300, creating our signature, soft and irresistibly cool fabrics. Our bed linen is made to last and easy to care for. The cotton and linen we use is STANDARD 100 by OEOK-TEX certified, which ensures that our collections are free from harmful chemicals – qualified comfort, by Shyness.
Care advices
Wash bed linen and cotton table textiles:
Cotton is a durable material and withstands harsh cleaners but wash non colored and colored items separately. Do not overdose detergent and fabric softener should not be used for any of our textiles. Bed linen and table textiles to be washed at 60 degrees and avoid damp laundry stays in the washing machine after the washing program is complete.
Dry bed linen and cotton table textiles:
Hang dry bed linen and table cloths. If you prefer extra flat and crisp bed linen, we recommend ironing or mangle your damp cotton textiles to obtain a flat surface. It is also possible to tumble dry the bed linen, the difference is that they are not as flat, otherwise they withstand tumble drying.
Good to know about the closening of bed linen:
Pillow case has a folded-in fabric that hides the inner cushion and there are also three pairs of decorative ribbons.
Duvet cover has an opening at the bottom, where they are sewn approx. 30 cm on each side and decorative ribbons are placed in between.
Our bed linen are closed with a decorative ribbon. If you would like to secure the knot extra, we recommend you tie a double knot. See images below.
Wash textile and table cloth in linen fabric:
Shyness linen is pre-washed to give a soft textile with natural “wrinkled” surface. Wash non colored and colored items separately at 60 degrees. Fabric softener should not be used for any of our textiles.
Dry textile and table cloth in linen fabric:
To maintain the soft and naturally wrinkled surface, dry tumble slightly and then hang to dry the fabric.
If instead a wrinkle free surface is desired. Hang dry, then iron or mangle the textile damp.
